About LobePro

Since 1978, our parent company, Holland Pump has been a leader in manufacturing rotary pumps for the construction dewatering industry. We recognized the potential of using rotary lobe pumps for this industry, and began testing them in this harsh service.

Holland Pump has been used German made rotary lobe pumps in the construction dewatering business. During that time we purchased 400 German made lobe pumps and logged 1.5 million hours on the 250 pumps that went out into our own rental fleet. As an end-user, we gained valuable experience and insight into the strengths and weaknesses of the rotary lobe pump. We basically liked the pumps but there were some problems that required fixing. Our two biggest issues were seal leaks and slow delivery of repair parts. In response to our complaints about seal leaks our German supplier developed a pressure bottle and hand pump to put back pressure on their seals to keep them from leaking. This system requires daily monitoring and adjustments or the seals will leak.

We felt this system, which our former supplier still uses, was and still is unworkable and burdensome. Therefore, we made the decision to begin manufacturing rotary lobe pumps ourselves. We also used the experience that we gained in operating, maintaining, and repairing our own rental pumps to make many other improvements in materials, fit, ease of maintenance, and strength compared other lobe pumps. During 2006 we manufactured about 50 pumps of our design and put them in our rental fleet. By the end of 2006 we knew our pump had seals that did not leak and did not require daily monitoring.

We launched our LobePro Brand of improved rotary lobe pumps for the municipal and general industrial markets. We currently manufacture 33 models divided into three series: G-Series (general use pumps), S-Series (sludge/slurry) pumps and C-Series stainless steel (chemical/and corrosive resistant) pumps. We also have a line of API 676 compliant pumps - A-Series for the oil and gas industry.

All are built and assembled in the USA. We guarantee shipment of wear parts with 2 working days of receiving an order or the parts are free. This applies for the first 5 years after a LobePro pump is purchased.
